a neuropsychological paradigm for the cognitive assessment of HIV patients:

The 'birds and bunnies' task requires the subject to track the bird with a joystick, whilst performing a reaction time task with the bunny (this is difficult) and is designed to test and evaluate a number of cognitive areas simultaneously in order to assess cognitive impairment due to antiretroviral medication. The software populates 138 variables in a hidden Excel spreadsheet and performs data analysis in real time, whilst the task is being performed.
